Ugandan pastors who divorced and remarried

Divorce is the process of terminating a contractual marital arrangement, marriage, or marital union. This arrangement can include cancelation and reorganizing the duties and responsibilities of marriage.

Christianity takes the stance that, often marriages can break down and this can sometimes mean that the couple decides to separate, this means to live apart. This separation can then lead to divorce if the couple chooses to end the marriage legally.

Divorce is mentioned in the Bible, the main source of authority and guidance for Christians. Jesus’ teaching on divorce is that it would lead to adultery, which is forbidden in the Ten Commandments, but he did allow for divorce in the case of a partner’s infidelity.

This follows the developments of House of Prayer Ministries International Church’s Pastor Aloysius Bugingo getting introduced by his worker Susan Makula while his official wife Teddy Naluswa Bugingo is still alive. Matooke Republic has compiled a list of some of the Ugandan pastors who divorced and remarried and those ones who left their lovers and remarried.
