Four pairs in race for final spots in the Singleton Challenge

The Singleton Challenge semi-finals take shape this Saturday at Entebbe Golf Club as the remaining four pairs battle for a place in the final and a chance to savour the World Golf Tour Championships in Dubai.

Among them are two female pairs who defied the odds to make it this far.

Irene Nakalembe and Eva Magala won 2/1 against Charles Mwesigwa and E. Katwebaze in the quarters last month while Kesiime and Kabasweka combined to crush Ronnie Kasirye and Robert Busingye with three holes left, winning 4/3 and book their place in the penultimate round.

The winning pair will head to World Golf Tour Championships at the luxurious Jumeriah Golf Estates in Dubai, UAE from November 15-18.
