Remember the buzz about sperm injection? One of the new specialised services at Mulago Specialised Women and Neonatal Hospital? Well, it has finally got the attention of the church! Archbishop of Kampala Archdiocese, Cyprian Kizito Lwanga has opposed the procedure saying it will promote bearing of children whose fathers are not known especially if the sperms are donated.
Speaking at the burial of Rev. Fr. Augustine Kato Sseruwagi at Uganda Martyrs Shrine, Lwanga urged Ugandans not to be taken up by misleading innovation that is ‘against God’s teaching’.
“Imagine, after getting pregnant, what name are you going to give the child, laboratory or what?” Lwanga pondered.

Lwanga advised married couples to keep their vows by being honest and loving each other.
