Jose Chameleone’s eagerly awaited “Gwanga Mujje Concert” was ruined over a week ago when a heavy downpour on D-day caused the stage to collapse.

Due to the incident, the concert was postponed until this Friday, February 24.

Although there were conflicting reactions to the incident, the majority of people felt bad for the legendary singer.

Mariam Mutakubwa, alias Biggie Events, described the incident as the biggest shock of her life.

But with only one day until the show, Biggie—who previously revealed that she had already spent more than Sh500 million getting ready—has revealed once more that her team was able to pay again all the service providers.

She explained that the National Council of Sports, which manages Lugogo Cricket Oval, asked her to pay half.

“We have already paid Shs7.5m to managers of Lugogo Cricket Oval to have the show held there again,” she said.

In response to the question of building a firm stage this time, Biggie claimed that even the first stage was firm but an accident just occurred.

But she added that the stage has already been magically built by Fenon Events.

“The stage is already up and definitely very firm,” she said.

In a recent interview, Chameleone made a unique performance promise, saying he would take his audience down memory lane as he celebrates 25 years in the music business.
