Former Makerere lecturer hacks his son to death after wife reportedly said he is not his biological child

Police in Sheema are hunting for a father who allegedly hacked his son to death.

Emmanuel Sabiiti, a former language lecturer at Makerere University and resident of Kabutsye in Kigarama Sheema district, is alleged to have killed his son. According to reports, Sabiiti and his wife were involved in an argument. The woman reportedly told him that, after all, none of the children belonged to him.

Out of anger, he decided to kill the son. The deceased are Kendo Kukunda, 8; and a maid, Lilan Ainembabazi, 16.

The suspect also gravely injured his daughter, who has been rushed to Mbarara Regional Hospital for treatment.
