The 11th session of the Africa Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD) will kick off tomorrow- April 6th, at the Speke Convention Centre in Munyonyo. The week-long event will run all the way till next Friday- April 11th.
President Yoweri Museveni is expected to be the the Chief Guest at the continental event, which is expected to bring together key stakeholders from across Africa and beyond, to discuss sustainable economic growth, job creation, and science-driven solutions.
The ARFSD 2025 will run under the theme- “Driving Job Creation and Economic Growth Through Sustainable, Inclusive, Science- and Evidence-Based Solutions for the 2030 Agenda and Agenda 2063.”
Stakeholders are expected to discuss key areas such as industrial innovation, climate resilience, digital transformation, and social inclusion.
