The wait is over! The TRACE Awards City Tour is finally making its grand stop in Kampala, courtesy of Johnnie Walker, this Thursday- February 13th, at the chic Noni Vie in Lugogo. This exclusive, invite-only event is set to bring together Uganda’s biggest names in entertainment for a night of music, artistry celebration, and high-energy revelry.
Hosted by TRACE and Johnnie Walker, the Kampala edition of the tour is set to be an electrifying prelude to the TRACE Music Awards happening in Zanzibar on February 26.
Following massive stops in Johannesburg and Nairobi, Uganda is next in line to experience the magic, and the excitement is at an all-time high.
But this night isn’t just about the music, it’s about celebrating Uganda’s own Joshua Baraka, the country’s sole nominee in the 2025 TRACE Music Awards.
The fast-rising star earned a nomination in the Best East African Artist category, putting him alongside some of the region’s biggest acts. The Kampala tour stop will shine a well-deserved spotlight on his incredible journey, giving Ugandans the perfect moment to rally behind him as he represents #256 on the continental stage.
