The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has said the results for the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11.
In a brief statement issued today, UNEB said the results will be released at State House, Nakasero.
Meanwhile, the initial release date was Friday, February 7, but it was postponed due to the Minister of Education and Sports’ prior commitments.
This is the first time UNEB is releasing UCE results covering the first cohort of the new Lower Secondary Curriculum and the last cohort of the old curriculum/transitional candidates, as the maiden examination under the New Lower Secondary Curriculum (NLSC) was first sat last year.
A total of 379,748 candidates sat for the exams, with 369,601 being pioneers of the new curriculum and 10,147 taking the transitional examination.
