Uganda’s national netball team, the She Cranes, is gearing up for an exciting challenge at the Vitality Netball Nations Cup 2025, set to begin on February 1 in England. The prestigious tournament will be played over two weekends in Nottingham and London, featuring some of the world’s top teams.
The She Cranes will face a formidable lineup, battling against host nation England, South Africa, and Malawi in a highly competitive contest.
Uganda will kick off their campaign against South Africa on February 1 at 6 PM EAT, followed by a crucial clash with Malawi on February 2. Their biggest test comes on February 8, when they take on England, one of the world’s top-ranked teams.
The She Cranes have been steadily rising on the global stage, having delivered strong performances in recent tournaments, including the Fast5 Netball World Series and the Africa Netball Cup. With each competition, they have demonstrated their ability to challenge higher-ranked nations.
This tournament presents another golden opportunity for Uganda to climb the world rankings and prove they belong among netball’s elite. The She Cranes have built a reputation as fierce competitors, and they will be eager to make a statement on English soil.
