Young Rapper Patrick Ssenyonjo, popularly known as Fresh Kid, has secured a six-year scholarship to study at Hana International School Uganda (HISU) in Nsangi.
The scholarship was facilitated by former Youth Minister Hon. Nakiwala Kiyingi, who reportedly lobbied for the school to enroll the young artist.
Under this arrangement, Fresh Kid will continue his education at HISU until Senior 6, with provisions allowing him to perform at weekend shows, similar to his schedule during primary school.
The talented rapper recently received his Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results, earning a first grade with impressive scores: D2 in English, D2 in Science, C3 in Social Studies (SST), and C4 in Mathematics.
Fresh Kid sat for his PLE at Kampala Parents Primary School, where he had been studying on a scholarship from the Ruparelia Group since 2019. The school is known for consistently ranking among the top performers in national exams.
