Singer cum legislator, Hon. Geoffrey Lutaaya is set to reconnect with his fans at a special Valentine’s Day concert dubbed ‘The Love Memories,’ concert, slated for Friday, February 14th, at the Kampala Sheraton Gardens.
The concert was announced at a press briefing, hosted by media personality- Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa, yesterday (Tuesday, January 21), at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel, with I&M Bank Uganda as the official banking partner.
Flanked by his wife- singer Irene Namatovu, and fellow legislator cum musician- Hillary Kiyaga aka Dr. Hilderman (Mawokota North MP), as well as promoter cum Bukomansimbi South MP- Geoffrey Kayemba Ssolo, Lutaaya, who is the Kakuuto Member of Parliament, promised his fans a memorable reconnection, that will also be a celebration of love.
Other artists at the launch included Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Mesach Ssemakula, Eddy Yawe, Grenade, Stecia Mayanja, as well as many upcoming and established names in the arts sector, all of whom shared deep stories about Lutaaya.
The concert will see Lutaaya deliver show after a long time off the stage due to other commitments.
Lutaaya, who has over the years established a reputation in the music business with his distinctive fusion of African and Afrobeat music, promised to take his fans on an unforgettable melodious music experience.
“This concert is very special to me, because it’s a chance to reconnect with my fans and celebrate love through music. It’s been a while, but I’m putting everything aside to ensure I give my fans an unforgettable experience,” he said.
“I’ve been rehearsing tirelessly for this show, and I can confidently say I’m very prepared both mentally and musically. I invite all my fans, music lovers, lovers, and live band music lovers, to come and we reconnect, and enjoy some good love music, as we celebrate Valentines Day,” Lutaaya added.
Speaking on behalf of I&M Bank, Edward Kalema noted that the partnership with The Love Memories concert aligns with the bank’s commitment to supporting the arts, and sharing in memorable fun experiences with their customers.
“The Love Memories concert is a celebration of love, and we felt that this is a perfect opportunity for us to share Valentines Day with our customers. Our customers will have a chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day as they enjoy a live performance of sweet old melodies with their loved ones, by the legendary Geoffrey Lutaaya,” Kalema noted.

Kalema highlighted that while I&M Bank’s Loan Repayment Holiday campaign was rolled out with major focus on relieving their customers the festive season and back to school period financial stress, it will also be a plus, by extension, for lovers to be able to celebrate Valentines Day with less financial stress.
The loan repayment holiday was rolled out on December 1st, 2024, and is still on going till February 28th. During this period, customers were excused from servicing their loans, in order to plan for both the festive season and back to school period, and now- Valentines Day, with less financial pressure.
Come Valentines Day, Lutaaya is expected to perform his songs like Oli Miss, Nice and Lovely, My Love, Choice Yange, Easy Come Easy Go, Nkolerera Baana Bange, Akyaali Mboko, Omwaka Guuno, Nansanga, Olweeza, among others.
Tickets to the Love Memories Concert are on going for Shs 150k for an individual, while a table is Shs 3m.
The other partners on the event include, Aquafina, Fenon Events, Timecop Security, Humble Management, Jude Colour Solutions, and Sanyuka TV.
