A 12-year-old girl has died after falling into a 100-meter-deep well. The incident occurred on Wednesday in Luwafu Abbas Zone, Makindye Division.
Kagimu Bossa, a security guard, attempted to rescue the girl but was severely injured in the process.
Locals alerted the area police, who dispatched officers from the Police Fire and Rescue Services.
The girl’s body was retrieved, and the injured security guard was rushed to Kiruddu Referral Hospital for treatment.
