Kabogoza Yuda Taddeo, a father of 31 children, is accusing his wife of plotting to take all his property after she filed for divorce.
According to Kabogoza, his wife, Namugenyi Julian, is demanding ownership of their house in Wankulukuku and ‘Kameeza’ money of Shs700,000 per month.
“I have over 30 children, and she already forced me and 25 of the children out of the house. I rented a place, but I cannot allow her to take our house just like that,” Kabogoza said during an interview on Bukedde TV.
He further explained that the six children he has with Namugenyi are the only ones still living at their Wankulukuku home.
Kabogoza also accuses his wife of evicting him from the shop he started for her in downtown Kampala.
“I invested over Shs20 million in her shop, but now she claims that she solely owns the business,” he said.
In response, Namugenyi, who said she married Kabogoza when she was 18, claimed she has endured years of mistreatment from him.
“It reached a point where I was tired, which forced me to move on from him,” Namugenyi said, denying that she had chased her husband’s other children from the house.
She also claimed that she solely owns her shop in Kampala, having started it with her own money.
Namugenyi further accused her husband of fathering children with other women.
“He has 31 children, and most of them have their own mothers,” she said.
