Swangz Avenue artist Josephine Nakyoonyi, known as Zafaran, has shared insights into her love life, revealing that she is currently single and prioritizing her music career over romance.

In an interview on a local television show, Zafaran explained that despite attracting attention from several admirers, she’s not looking for love right now.

The singer recounted a past relationship that left her wary of dating. She broke up with her boyfriend after he failed to help her with her rent during a difficult financial period.

“Back when I was performing in a band for Shs30k per gig, my salary was delayed, and I needed assistance. I was living in a place that cost Shs 100k a month, but when the month ended, I found myself without money. I asked my boyfriend for help, and he promised to send it, but weeks went by with no support,” she shared.

Feeling let down and ignored—especially when he stopped answering her calls—Zafaran ultimately decided to end the relationship.

Since joining Swangz Avenue in 2022, she has committed herself to her music, declaring that her focus remains on achieving success in her career.
