Silo 15 Lounge’s Daycation Brunch has proved the new pace-setter for day plot in Kampala.
The monthly party was held on Sunday, and going by the turn up and the vibes, it’s clear that the Don Julio sponsored outing is one not to miss.
Yesterday’s edition was the third Daycation Brunch series, and it was a day filled with laughter, great vibes, and an unforgettable mix of music, food, and cocktails.
Upon entering the gate at Silo 15, guests were greeted by a beautiful Mexican themed set up, that comprised of beautiful booths, that offered a perfect background for photos and snaps.
This particular edition featured a unique and amazing performance by the Kampala Jazz Orchestra, who set a perfect mood with an electrifying three-hour long performance.
Dressed elegantly in all white, they commanded the stage with a seamless flow of soulful jazz tunes that had revellers singing along.
The crowd was fully animated, dancing, mingling, and soaking in the infectious energy. Every note hit by the orchestra felt like a celebration of music, perfectly complemented by the cocktail jugs that were generously served on every table.
It was clear—Don Julio was the perfect companion for the music, bringing out the best in the festive atmosphere.
“Today was a good day. The Daycation is giving our consumers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun ahead of the Monday blues, and we are thrilled to be part of such an engaging experience that is setting the pace for Sunday outings and brunches. I encourage all tequila lovers to look forward to more of such special moments with friends, music, and of course, the amazing Don Julio cocktails,” said Simon Lapyem, the Innovations Manager at UBL.
As the vibes intensified, waitresses made rounds with Don Julio shots, just to make sure everyone had a taste of the world’s most revered tequila.
Later in the evening, Sheila Salta, ‘The Host With The Mostest,’ kept the party alive, ushering in a new wave of excitement with her high energy hyping antics.
Selector Jay delivered a seamless transition from the Jazz Orchestra, with a well curated playlist that got the crowd nodding their heads, while some got on their feet and pulled a few moves.
The latecomers could be seen enjoying mouth-watering delicacies from the brunch menu, including a variety of cakes, sweet treats, and an assortment of savoury foods.
Melvyn DJ and DJ Anselm took the decks later on and ensured the party vibes carried on, with people dancing and catching the premier league action on the giant screens. The next Daycation Brunch is already locked in for Sunday, October 27 and with each edition, a promise of bigger and better.
