Speke Group offers inter-facility access for gym, sauna and swimming for monthly/ annual subscribers across all Speke Group hotels

Health and fitness enthusiasts can now enjoy seamless access to state-of-the-art facilities across all Speke Group properties with a single membership rate.

This initiative allows customers to access amenities including gym, steam and sauna, as well as swimming, at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Kabira Country Club, and Speke Apartments, at a single fee.


The move which is aimed at providing a convenient option for those that might be in a particular part of town, but paid membership at a different facility.

“If someone is a paid up platinum member at Speke Apartments, and they are in Munyonyo, they simply flash their membership card, or present their details at the Commonwealth Speke Resort, and they will access the gym, steam and sauna, as well as the pool. The same applies for Kabira platinum members,” explained a front desk personnel at Speke Apartments, along Wampewo Avenue in Kampala.

Besides convenience, the shall also help customers be able to buy experience the different facilities under the Speke Group of Hotels. We have learnt that the initiative will still apply to the newly expanded Kabira Country Club, which is expected to even have grander amenities.

All the three facilities boat of advanced gym equipment that automates workout monitoring, including heart rate, calories burned, distance, and time. This cutting-edge technology ensures a personalized and efficient fitness experience.

Platinum membership goes for $2,800 (about Shs10m) for a family, and $2,100 (about Shs 7.6m) for an individual.


The monthly platinum membership fee is $450 (about 1.6m) for a family, and $350 (about 1.2m) for an individual.


Other packages include Gold membership for family at $2,250, half family annual subscription at $1,800 for Gold and $2,000 for platinum.

The annual Gold package rate for an individual is $1,600, and $1,200 for a half family package. The monthly gold rate for an individual is $300, while platinum goes for $350.


For those looking for short-term access, daily access goes for Shs 40,000 for the gym, Shs 30,000 for the swimming pool for adults, and only Shs 25,000 for children under 14 years.


The facilities also have different fitness sessions/ classes on a daily that range from Shs 20,000 upwards.
