Minister Balaam: I miss my orange t-shirt, suits are draining my pockets

Minister of State for Youth, Hon. Balaam Barugahara, has said that he misses his signature orange t-shirt, as luxurious suits are draining his pockets.

Balaam, who was appointed minister earlier this year, says he’s spending a lot on buying suits and ironing them.

“I miss my orange t-shirt because it dries quickly when washed. This eliminates the need for ironing, hence saving on electricity,” Balaam said in an interview on a local television station.

He also mentioned that he appreciates the simplicity of his orange t-shirt when it comes to pairing it with other clothing items.

“These luxurious suits are giving me a hard time. They take long to dry, and I have to iron them every time they are washed,” he said.

The minister is contemplating going to the Speaker of Parliament to ask her to allow him to wear his orange t-shirt at least two times a week.
