Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa has spoken out after a helicopter he was travelling in was involved in a crash.
Reports indicate that the chopper crashed last evening while Tayebwa and his entourage were on their way back to Kampala from Nyakisharara in western Uganda.
It is reported that fire was seen coming from the cockpit, causing panic, and the pilot decided to crash land the helicopter.
Details about the incident are still scanty, but the Deputy Speaker has posted on his official social media handles saying, “Dear all, my colleagues and I are all okay. No one is hurt.”
