The long-awaited Crested Crane Hotel in Jinja is finally nearing completion, with a handover date set for the end of July.
The 3-Star hotel, funded by the World Bank, is part of a larger program that includes the construction of a new Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute.
While the hotel is expected to receive a 3-Star classification upon commissioning in October, the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities believes it has the potential for a higher rating.
The Shs26 billion facility boasts impressive infrastructure, including buildings, rooms, and conference facilities.
The only missing amenities are swimming pools, a gym/health club, and other accessory services, which will be added later.
As of now, the facility has 85 rooms, including Queen and double bed rooms, state-of-the-art conference facilities, modern kitchen and laundry facilities.
The new Crested Crane Hotel is set to become a landmark in Jinja, offering top-notch amenities and services to guests.
