Singer Viboyo Oweyo, real name is Nsubuga Moses, has announced his plans to transition from the music industry to politics. He hopes to make a meaningful impact within the National Unity Platform (NUP) and is eyeing a political role in the upcoming 2026 general elections.
In an interview with Sanyuka TV, Viboyo revealed his active involvement with the NUP’s base in Kavule and his aspirations for a political role.
Viboyo was recently seen receiving his NUP membership card from the party’s president, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, solidifying his commitment to his political journey.
“I want to be part of the change I want in this country. Besides, if one doesn’t leave their comfort zone, they can never achieve what they want,” Viboyo said.
He promised to soon announce the full details of his political aspirations, signaling a new chapter in his career.
Currently, Viboyo is at Swangz Avenue working as a producer and occasionally releases new music. He is also well known for his yearly rap-up songs.
