The Roast and Rhyme Nyam on the Nile edition took over Jinja city last weekend, offering a top-notch experience with Bell enjoyments, live Ugandan music, savory nyama choma, and a unique spirits village courtesy of Black & White, Uganda Waragi Lemon and Ginger, and Smirnoff in partnership with Uganda Breweries Limited.
The event, organized by Swangz Avenue, was held at the new location, Across the Nile Resort, which provided a preview of the experience as revellers arrived.
For the first time in Uganda, Bell citrus consumer experience was available, offering a free zesty Bell to attendees on Saturday and discounted beer during happy hour.
Justin Agaba, the UBL Bell Lager acting brand manager, stated, “Our aim each edition of Roast and Rhyme is to make the consumer experience worthwhile, and we made sure of this by curating a spacious enjoyment pack for our consumers and their crew.”
He added, ” For the first time, we have unpacked a new zesty experience that everyone should look out for during any enjoyment.”
The night featured live music performances from Maestro band, Chosen Blood, Double black, Vinka, and the B2C soldiers.
The 3-day getaway began with a night in the woods party experience at Living Waters Resort, followed by the main event at Across the Nile Resort, and concluded with an all-white Sunday service brunch in partnership with Tanqueray Gin at Living Waters Resort.
