Kampala Restaurant Week has launched today, offering food enthusiasts a 10-day culinary extravaganza across various participating restaurants in Kampala until July 14th. The Pearl Guide has curated a selection of the city’s finest dining establishments to provide exceptional ambiance, service, and cuisine.
This year’s edition features 30 delectable menus, including casual meals starting at Shs20,000 and signature dishes at Shs30,000. Some highlights include floppy Joes Garlic bread, Thai veg roll, steamed beef tenderloin, Mediterranean steak pasta, and the dragon tuna roll at Molecule. The Alchemist will offer a rib tower and smashed shroom burger for Shs25,000, while Tilapia Florentine and Parisian short ribs will be available for Shs35,000.
According to Isac Langoli, Project Manager of Kampala Restaurant Week, “This event aims to showcase the best dining spots in Kampala, creating opportunities for the public to discover new eateries and make memorable experiences through food.”
New to this edition is the foodie passport, which rewards frequent diners with extras when they scan a QR code on any Kampala Restaurant Week menu. Partnerships with UBL and Crown Beverages Limited will offer complimentary Tusker Cider and Aquafina bottles with signature meals. Additionally, diners will receive instant cashback on all FlexiPay transactions during the event.
