The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) will release the Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) on Thursday, January 25.
According to a new memo released by the office of the Minister of Education and Sports, a briefing by UNEB on the PLE results for the year 2023 is happening today at the State House Nakasero in Kampala.
UNEB is supposed to brief the Minister of Education, who is, in this case, First Lady Janet Museveni, about the performance of learners before the results are released to the public.
The release of the results will follow suit on Thursday. A total of 749,347 pupils sat for PLE in 2023, of which 391,558 were girls and 357,789 were boys.
