Comedian Obed Lubega, popularly known as Reign of Maulana and Reign, has revealed that he will be enrolling again for a degree at St. Lawrence University.

For a while now, rumours have been making rounds that Reign is looking forward to contesting for the Member of Parliament seat due to his closeness to National Unity Platform Member of Parliament, Francis Zaake.

However, when we asked Reign about the rumours, he said, “Today it’s all about celebrating my diploma.”

Reign and his comedy partner, Maulana, are known for making comedy skits from the political arena, and the two occasionally attend NUP gatherings.

It’s no surprise that the NUP leader Robert Kyagulanyi also posted about his graduation, saying, “Education is the passport to the future. Congratulations, Reign, upon reaching this milestone. You did it, not just for yourself, but for all of us as artists.”
