Museveni makes changes in SFC 

President Yoweri Museveni, who is also the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, has made several changes within the Special Forces Command (SFC).

According to the statement from the Ministry of Defense and UPDF, Col Allan Matsiko, who has been the SFC director for intelligence, has been appointed as the 303 brigade commander.

Col JB Asinguza is the new commander of Special Forces Group One. He is also the Director of Training in SFC.

The Commander-in-Chief has promoted Lt Col Bagonza to Colonel and consequently appointed him the commander of Special Forces Group Two, whereas Lt Col Duncan Kafeero has maintained his position as a Deputy Director.

The Special Forces Command (SFC) is an elite unit of the UPDF responsible for the security of the President of Uganda and members of the first family.
