National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, has confirmed that Muhammad Ssegirinya, the Member of Parliament for Kawempe North, has been discharged from Nsambya Hospital. Ssegirinya had been undergoing treatment at the hospital for the past two weeks, following a decline in his health.
The health concerns surrounding Ssegirinya date back to his release from prison earlier this year. In August, he travelled to the Netherlands for medical attention, addressing skin cancer and lung infections.
However, the situation took a downturn earlier this month, prompting Ssegirinya’s admission to Nsambya Hospital. During his stay, he underwent various treatments to address the health challenges he was facing.
Providing an update on Ssegirinya’s health, Bobi Wine, the leader of NUP, shared the positive news of the MP’s recovery.
“Checked on Hon. Ssegirinya Muhammad who is recovering at home. His health has improved tremendously, and he thanks you all for your prayers,” Bobi Wine stated.
