Abdallah Mubiru has been appointed as the new Head Coach of KCCA FC on a two-year contract. The announcement comes following the departure of Portuguese coach Sergio Daniel Traguil, who left the club in October.
The unveiling ceremony took place with Club Patron and Kampala’s Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, introducing Mubiru as the man entrusted with the task of rejuvenating KCCA FC’s season.
This marks Mubiru’s second stint as the Head Coach at KCCA FC, previously leading the team in 2014. His return brings with it a wealth of experience, not only as a coach but also as a former player for KCCA FC during the 90s.
Mubiru’s immediate focus, alongside his technical team, will be to navigate KCCA FC through the challenges of the current season and restore the club to its winning ways.
With an extensive coaching background, Mubiru has previously managed teams including Police FC, Proline FC, Vipers SC, Mbeya City FC, and has contributed his expertise to the Uganda Cranes. His comprehensive understanding of the local football landscape and proven track record make him a valuable asset for KCCA FC in their pursuit of success.
