Singer Juliana Kanyomozi has said that she’s beyond the realm of music battles, believing that there’s nothing more for her to prove.
The recent music battle between Cindy and Sheebah ignited a trend of musicians challenging each other, with Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool being the latest to express their interest in a musical showdown. King Saha also dared Eddy Kenzo to a musical face-off.
However, Juliana stated that she has outgrown such conversations and is not inclined to participate in them. During the ‘World of Sounds’ event held at Kampala Serena Hotel, she shared her perspective with journalists.
“I believe I am past that stage. It’s not about undermining anyone, but personally, I don’t think there’s anything new left for me to prove,” Juliana explained.
Despite her disinterest in music battles, Juliana acknowledged that for those who choose to engage in them, it’s perfectly acceptable.
“It’s a money-making venture, it’s a business. It seems that the audience enjoys it, right? I think everyone should follow their own path because I can’t dictate to grown individuals what they should do,” she said.
