Media personality Edwin Katamba, also known as MC Kats, has officially confirmed that he and singer Fille Mutoni are planning to tie the knot in the coming months. However, there’s a unique twist to their wedding plans—guests will be required to pay to attend the event.
After experiencing an on-and-off relationship for an extended period, MC Kats and Fille appear to have found stability in their relationship and are now looking forward to building a future together.
Speaking to Sanyuka TV, MC Kats revealed that the delay in formalizing their relationship was due to their desire to achieve certain life goals before considering marriage.
“It has taken some time, but we felt it was essential to accomplish other significant milestones, such as building our homes. With God’s grace, we’ve managed to achieve some of these goals, and now it feels like the right time,” MC Kats explained.
For their wedding, the popular event emcee disclosed that he plans to secure a spacious venue where he can charge an entrance fee for attendees to be part of their celebration.
Meanwhile, MC Kats and Fille won’t be the first couple to ask their guests to pay for attending their wedding. Back in 2009, Straka and Sizzaman had planned a wedding that resembled a concert and was scheduled to take place at Namboole Stadium. However, Sizzaman decided to skip the wedding at the last minute.
