Singer Edirisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo, has voiced his stance on music battles, saying that he is in favour of such artistic engagements as long as they remain nonviolent.
Kenzo believes that music battles can serve as a platform for artistic growth and a way to promote the music industry’s business aspect.
“I personally don’t engage in musical battles with fellow artists. However, if any artist believes they have the skills to challenge me, I’m open to participating, under the condition that the battle maintains a peaceful spirit. My preference for such battles would be in Senegal or Colombia,” Kenzo expressed during an interview on a local TV station.
Reflecting on the forthcoming Cindy-Sheebah music battle, Kenzo, a prominent figure in the music industry, shared that he stands impartial and will be present to support both artists.
“Considering my role as a leader within the music industry, I hold no bias in this scenario. I see the battle as a viable business opportunity for both Cindy and Sheebah,” he remarked.
With the highly anticipated battle scheduled for September 15 at the Kololo Airstrip, Kenzo extended an invitation to Ugandans to attend the event and contribute to its success.
