Police in Banda have arrested a man allegedly responsible for assembling an explosive device that accidentally detonated during tampering.
The incident prompted the area to be cordoned off as a safety measure while the suspect was apprehended.
According to Police spokesperson Fred Enanga, the arrested man was found in possession of various bomb-making materials, including jerrycans of nitric acid, methanol, ethanol, textbooks, and other items.
