Mabonga Christopher, the Kagwirawo Marketing Manager, emphasized their commitment to providing a much-needed boost to the national team during the upcoming tournaments.

“Our purpose is to support the She Cranes as they represent the country at the World Cup in South Africa. We have formed a strong partnership with the Uganda Netball Federation and have offered them a substantial package of Shs3 million per month for the duration of one year. We are dedicated to supporting them not only for the World Cup and Africa Netball Championship but also for other activities managed by UNF,” Mabonga said.

The Federation’s Head of Marketing, Daniel Ntale, expressed his excitement and gratitude for the new partnership, welcoming Kagwirawo as a valued addition to the netball family.

“We are thrilled to have Kagwirawo as part of our family. Their support comes at a crucial time when funding has been lacking. Despite the challenges, we are grateful that there are still partners who believe in us,” said Ntale.

He further explained the allocation of funds, emphasizing the players’ importance and how they would receive their fair share from the sponsorship.

Ntale highlighted the significance of contributions from various stakeholders, including the federation, players, and leadership, in ensuring the sport’s continued growth and success.

With the backing of Kagwirawo Sports Betting Company, the She Cranes are geared up for a promising and well-supported journey to the World Cup and Africa Netball Championship.
