68-year-old man kills wife and two children before taking his own life

A 68-year-old man has brutally murdered his wife and two children before ending his own life through hanging. The incident happened on July 5 in Bukomba village, Nakikooda parish, Luweero district.

According to the police in Luweero, the head of the family, Steven Musisi, had been embroiled in a domestic conflict with his wife, Nagayi Aisha, due to her having children with another man.

On the fateful day, Musisi carried out his heinous act, hacking his wife and two children, 9-year-old Namiiro Esther and 1-and-a-half-year-old Mutebi Jonathan, to death. Additionally, he inflicted severe injuries upon 7-year-old Namutebi Carol and 5-year-old Namuddu Cathy.

The mother and two children were found in separate beds, each with deep cuts to their heads. The man was found hanging from the door of his bedroom.

Currently, the two surviving victims, Namutebi Carol and Namuddu Cathy, remain in critical condition and are receiving medical treatment at Luweero Hospital.
