Renowned Ugandan comedian and former Member of Parliament, Kato Lubwama, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and entertainment.
The news of Lubwama’s demise was initially shared by local event promoter Bajjo, also known as Andrew Mukasa, through a TikTok announcement. Reports indicate that Lubwama suffered a heart attack at Stana Medical Center in Bunamwaya, a facility he frequented for regular checkups.
In his last interview, conducted on Tuesday, Lubwama appeared vibrant and full of energy as he discussed the upcoming concerts featuring Pallaso and Alien Skin.
As a highly respected figure in the entertainment industry, Lubwama expressed his intention to attend Pallaso’s Love Fest concert at Cricket Oval. Despite acknowledging Pallaso’s occasional misbehavior, he praised the artist for his undeniable musical talent.
Regarding Alien’s concert, Lubwama dismissed it, stating, “I cannot associate myself with such individuals. His music lacks substance.”
