I&M Bank has relocated their head office to Kingdom Kampala Mall effective this Tuesday May 2.
“Dear customer, this is to inform you that to serve you better, we have relocated our Head Office to Kingdom Kampala Mall located on Plot 31A-35A, 37A-39A on Nile Avenue, Kampala effective Tuesday, may 2, 2023,” a bank notice to customers read.
“The functions that will be at the new location are; the Executive Office, Corporate Banking, Products & Channels, Treasury, Credit, Legal, Marketing & Corporate Communications, and Compliance. All the other functions will remain at Plot 6/6A, Kampala Road,” the notice further reads.
I&M Bank Uganda started operations in the country in November 2021, following the acquisition of Orient Bank.
The relocation of the headquarters is on the heels of the bank announcing a solid 2022 that saw an end to a three-year loss streak, registering Shs5.6bn in profit and key growth in deposits and assets.
The bank also has a flagship digital branch that hosts a select banking suite for high networth individuals and corporate banking centre at Kingdom Kampala.
The Kingdom Kampala branch has a 24-7 digital self service hub known as the I&M Digital Pod that gives clients a chance to experience what a fully independent digital bank can offer.
