Swangz trio to headline Ice Cream and Cake Festival

The fourth edition of the ice cream and cake festival in Kampala returns after three years of a break.

Swangz Avenue trio, Winnie Nwagi, Vinka and Azawi will be the star attraction at the 2023 edition of the Kampala Ice Cream and Cake Festival to happen on May 14 at the Uganda Museum.

The event, which brings together ice cream and cake producers and sellers into one place in a street food style festival, is scheduled to start at 10 am and up to 11 pm.

Organizers have also promised a lounge area where showgoers will relax and treat themselves to their sweet tooth’s desires.

As a family event, entertainment for children has also been catered for. There will be a kids’ park with bouncing castles, face painting, reading games, and spelling contests.
