Media personality Douglas Lwanga has claimed that if singer Moses Ssekibogo, aka Mowzey Radio, had lived longer, the Ugandan music industry would have advanced significantly.
Lwanga stated on the NBS After5 show on Monday that the industry has lost competition ever since Radio died in 2018.
“Mowzey Radio is surely missed in this music industry. If he was still alive we would be very far because he was good at making friends. The bond he had with Nigerian artists, trust me our music would be their being played on their bigger platforms,” he said.
Lwanga continued, saying that late Radio was a good musician and songwriter and that his music stood out because it had rich lyrical content.
Recall that Radio not only composed music for himself but also for a variety of Ugandan singers, including Winnie Nwagi, Lydia Jazmine, Spice Diana, and many more.
