Uganda’s national netball team (the She Cranes) has dropped in the latest World Netball rankings.
The She Cranes have dropped from 7th to 8th in the rankings that were released on Wednesday.
When the rankings were made public in November last year, the She Cranes dropped from sixth to seventh.
The She Cranes have not competed since a fine was levied against the Uganda Netball Federation for the team’s withdrawal from the November 2022 World Cup qualifiers in South Africa.
But after the government paid the arrears, the She Cranes will soon be back in action this year.
Meanwhile, Australia remains the top-ranked netball team, followed by New Zealand, England, Jamaica, and South Africa.
