Uganda Cranes and Kitara FC red-hot forward, Patrick Kaddu is closing on a move to Kenya Premier League giant Gor Mahia Football Club.
Last year, Kaddu made a shock move to the second-tier local football competition, FUFA Big League side Kitara Football Club after KCCA FC released him.
However, he has been phenomenal since joining Kitara FC last September scoring 15 goals in 15 matches.
“Forward Patrick Kaddu will be flying to Kenya to complete the move to Gor Mahia FC on Tuesday next week,” posted Kitara FC this morning.
Kaddu started his career at Maroons FC in 2011 before crossing to Kira Young in 2014. After a season at Kira Young, he returned to Maroons where he played for two seasons.
In 2017, he joined KCCA FC. During his 2-year stint at KCCA, Kaddu scored 32 goals in 64 games for the Lugogo-based club.
In August 2019, Kaddu joined RS Berkane on a 4-year deal. In February 2020, Kaddu joined Ismaily SC on a six-month loan deal until June 30, 2020, with an option to buy for about $100k.
On March 9, 2020, he scored his first goal for Ismaily SC against El Gouna FC, which held a 1–1 draw. However, the Egyptian club decided not to trigger the buying option.
On 5 December 2020, Kaddu moved to Botola club Youssoufia Berrechid on a deal for the rest of the season.
After just 15 games and two goals, the forward returned to KCCA, but he failed to impress on his second stint and joined Kitara.
