Kampala Central Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. Muhammad Nsereko, has urged Ugandans to cease their “hypocrisy” of attacking people who interact with President Yoweri Museveni or his brother Gen. Salim Saleh.

This morning, Nsereko was asked to comment on the rumored relationship between Gen. Saleh and Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago while appearing on NBS TV. Nsereko said there’s nothing wrong with it.

“What is wrong with Gen. Saleh and Lukwago meeting, even if secretly? There’s nothing wrong with Lukwago meeting Saleh as long as Lukwago stands by his values,” said Nsereko.

Nsereko urged the public to speak about the situation with an open mind.

“Assuming Lukwago was the one trying to woo Saleh onto the other side?

Why don’t you look at that side of the coin? You are looking at yourselves from an inferior point of view as parcels that can be wooed away to the other side,” he said.

On Monday, Lukwago denied any ties to Gen. Saleh. Meanwhile, Saleh is yet to publicly speak about the matter.
