Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire has confirmed that one person has been arrested in connection to the viral video where a girl is seen being tortured.

She has been identified as Kafta Queen, 18, and is the prime suspect who invited Pretty Nicole to attend her birthday celebrations, only to start beating her up.

The Nicole allegedly ran away from home, according to her mother, Aisha Kwagala, a resident of Kagaba zone, Kiringente Sub-County, in the Mpigi district.

Owoyesigyire revealed that Kafta Queen handed herself to the police at Kensington post.

“Efforts are still on to have others arrested,” said Owoyesigyire.

Earlier today, Owoyesigyire revealed that Pretty Nicole blames herself for what happened to her and hence refused to help the police to identify the suspects.

Nicole was beaten by three girls for allegedly having a romantic affair with one of the girls’ boyfriends.
