Antonio Bukhar Ssebuuma, the inaugural winner of NTV’s Hotsteps Season One, has graduated with a Master’s degree of Arts in Dance Teaching and Facilitating from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.

Over the last two years, Antonio, who has been pursuing part-time studies, expressed his enthusiasm about how the master’s program has significantly enhanced his research skills. He envisions applying this newfound expertise to advance his work and research, contributing fresh knowledge to both street-based dance practices and academia.

“The Master’s is important because it is now a requirement for anyone teaching dance in higher education in the UK to have a teaching qualification. Therefore, it is a great opportunity in my field of work,” Antonio said.
