The Sheebah-Cindy music battle has seemingly ignited a trend of music battles within the Ugandan music industry.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, has expressed his desire to see a music battle between two legendary singers: Joseph Mayanja, commonly known as Jose Chameleone, and Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool.

Taking to his official social media platforms, Tayebwa shared a photo of Chameleone and Bebe Cool, accompanied by the caption, “I am eagerly anticipating a live performance battle between these two giants of Uganda’s music scene.”

He went on to express his willingness to provide full support to make this musical showdown a reality.

“Anyone who can organize it has my complete backing,” he said.

In 2021, Bebe Cool, during an appearance on a local television station, challenged Jose Chameleone to a music battle. Bebe Cool, who had previously engaged in musical rivalries with Bobi Wine, considered Chameleone the last remaining contender among the ‘Big Three.’

However, Chameleone did not embrace Bebe Cool’s proposal. Instead, he argued that they should let their fans simply enjoy their music without engaging in a battle.
