Former URA FC captain and Uganda Cranes midfielder, Shafiq Kagimu has joined North Macedonian side FK Rabotnicki for the upcoming season. The midfielder signed a two-year contract with the top-tier Macedonian club on Wednesday.

Kagimu’s move follows a successful stint with Kenyan giants Gor Mahia last season, where he contributed to their triumph in clinching the 2022/23 Kenya Premier League championship, under the guidance of former Uganda Cranes head coach, Johnathan Mckinstry.

Kagimu will reunite with compatriot Halid Lwaliwa, the former Vipers SC captain, who has already made his mark in North Macedonia while representing Breganilica Skip.
