Former Team No Sleep (TNS) singer, Sheebah Karungi, has taken another step into the next phase of her music career with the official launch of her very own record label, Karma Music Ug.  The label is poised to become a breeding ground for emerging artists, providing them with mentorship and guidance.

Speaking at the launch of the label at Terrace Bar in Kololo, Sheebah reflected on her journey to stardom and expressed gratitude to the various industry stakeholders who played a pivotal role in shaping her career.

Having reportedly parted ways with TNS in 2021, Sheebah shared her vision for Karma Music Ug, fueled by her desire to pass on her wealth of experience to the next generation of talents.

“My goal is to retire early, although the exact timing is not set in stone. With Karma Music, I am establishing a platform to nurture and guide young talents,” Sheebah said.

The 33-year-old singer extended an open invitation to aspiring artists, encouraging them to showcase their work through Karma Music’s social media platforms. A thorough review process will follow, leading to the selection of individuals who will be invited for auditions.

Sheebah highlighted the panel that will oversee the selection process, featuring herself, Fik Fameica, Nava Gray, and other industry luminaries.

As a critical step forward, Sheebah disclosed that chosen talents will be offered contracts under Karma Music Ug. The label is poised to provide comprehensive support for talent development and brand establishment.

“I am thrilled to welcome new talents and help them flourish,” she enthusiastically stated.

Karma Music Ug joins an array of businesses within Sheebah’s Sheebah Establishment, including Holic Pads, an event company, and a nightclub, among other ventures.
