Comedian Ehmah Napoleone launches EYOTAB project to nurture young talent

Comedian Emmanuel Otim alias Ehmah Napoleone, has not only graced stages across the nation and beyond as a stand-up comedian but is now dedicated to passing on his comedic talents and creative insights to the next generation.

Napoleone’s vision has taken tangible form in the town of Nakatunya, situated along Lira Road in Soroti. The establishment that stands in Nakatunya carries the name EYOTAB—Empowering Youth Through Talent Building—an embodiment of his determination to identify and nurture budding talents in the creative arts.

EYOTAB, a project birthed from Napoleone’s conviction, seeks to provide mentoring and skill-building platforms for young talents, effectively preparing them for the demands of the job market.

According to Napoleone, the project’s genesis stemmed from encounters with youths eager to venture into the creative industry but lacking the guidance to embark on this journey.

Napoleone, touched by their aspirations, sought to turn their dreams into reality. Armed with a funding proposal, he approached potential benefactors, eventually securing support from the Mastercard Foundation, ensuring the project’s operation for a year.

Currently, EYOTAB’s registration process is underway on its website. The forthcoming auditions on September 1st will select 150 individuals to engage in specialized classes. The curriculum spans diverse fields, encompassing Comedy, Videography, Animations, Graphics, and more.
