A man has committed suicide by hanging within his in-law’s compound in Kiyanja South Division, Mubende municipality. The deceased, identified as Natiigo Vincent, had been relentlessly striving to reunite with his estranged wife, Namata Grace, but all efforts proved unsuccessful.

Natiigo and Namata had separated three years ago, owing to irreconcilable differences. Despite their separation, Natiigo remained determined to win back his wife’s affection and convince her to return home. Unfortunately, Namata refused, harbouring deep resentment due to the mistreatment she had endured during their marriage.

Natiigo resorted to taking his own life by hanging himself from a tree within the premises of his in-laws.
