Patrick Mulwana, known by his stage name Alien Skin, has revealed that he cautioned events promoter Abbey Musinguzi, popularly known as Abtex, about holding his concert at Freedom City.

Alien Skin took to TikTok to share that he had expressed concerns to Abtex about the venue’s capacity, deeming it too small for his fans.

Despite his warning, Abtex decided to proceed with Freedom City as the concert venue, which eventually proved inadequate to accommodate the overwhelming turnout.

On Friday, the venue reached its full capacity, and additional screens had to be set up in the parking area to cater to the fans who couldn’t enter the gates.

“I advised Abtex not to organize the show at Freedom City. He has an old-school mentality, and I’m working hard to change that,” Alien Skin stated during the live video.

Despite the venue limitations, Alien Skin’s concert was a resounding success, earning him a reported Shs15 million. Additionally, he has announced plans to hold additional concerts in cities such as Mbarara, Jinja, and Mbale.
