Besigye appeals to Late Kato Lubwama: Remind God of Uganda’s suffering

Dr. Kizza Besigye, a four-time presidential candidate, has expressed his heartfelt plea to the late Kato Lubwama, urging him to courageously remind God about the widespread criminality happening in Uganda.

During the vigil held at the residence of the late Kato Lubwama in Mutundwe on Saturday, Dr. Besigye acknowledged Lubwama’s fearless stance against any wrongdoing within the country. He believed that Lubwama is the right person to remind God of the dire circumstances that persist in Uganda.

Dr. Besigye emphasized the need for divine intervention to empower Ugandans in their ongoing struggle against the current regime.

Kato Lubwama, a former Member of Parliament for Rubaga South and member of the Democratic Party, tragically succumbed to heart complications on Wednesday.

Today, his body has been taken to the National Theater, where fellow actors and the public will be able to pay their final respects. He will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Nkozi, Mawokota, on Wednesday.
