Two pilgrims have been knocked dead by a Perfect Company bus with registration number UAL 881Z Isuzu along the Kampala-Masaka highway.

The unfortunate accident occurred at St. Lawrence Nakati, located on the Kampala-Masaka highway. The victims have been identified as Nabakooza Oliva and Nambi Specioza, both hailing from Makondo Parish in Masaka Diocese. They were en route to participate in the Martyrs Day celebrations scheduled for this Saturday in Namugongo.

According to reports, the bus driver, while traveling from the Nsangi direction on a slope, lost control of the vehicle. Consequently, the bus veered from its lane, colliding with the two pilgrims who were tragically caught in the path of the oncoming bus.
